We review on location, so visitors get an honest look at a city through the eyes of the people who know it best. A good review covers more than the plate. It covers the service, the stories and the people behind each dish.
Meet your host
Neal McLoughlin
Neal is a decorated police officer who retired from public service after a career he calls blessed. He started Badge and Bites to share the stories and flavor of local places the way only first responders can.
He believes food reflects community, and that the best way to understand a city is to sit down with the people who serve it.

Picks can't be bought
Restaurants never pay to be featured. The first responders choose.
Department approved
Every visit is cleared with the department. We never show tactical or security details.
No politics
The show is about service, people and food.
